SPARKING CHANGE IN AUA
The Sparking Change in AUA program (November 2024 to February 2026) aims to support person-centred care in long-term care homes across Canada through the appropriate use of antipsychotics and innovative, non-pharmacological approaches. With access to quality improvement guidance, resources and coaching, participating teams will have the opportunity to connect with peers, be empowered to tackle perennial concerns related to the appropriate use of antipsychotics, improve person-centred care and plan for long-term success and sustainability. The program features opportunities for monetary awards to recognize and reward teams' success in promoting and improving the appropriate use of antipsychotics in long-term care for better person-centred care.
